Minecraft Mob Collection Game Mode: Rob A Mob on Bedrock

Meet Rob A Mob, the Bedrock mob-collection server experience: find its official entry, understand collecting and stealing, and check the Java edition boundary.

Last updated: 2026-10-30

Rob A Mob is the Bedrock multiplayer experience featured in Minecraft's October 29, 2026 announcement. If you are looking for a Minecraft mob collection game mode from that announcement, this is its name. It combines collecting creatures with competition over other players' collections.

This guide was checked October 30, 2026 against the Minecraft announcement and the operator's public pages. We have not joined the server or tested its current controls.

How the collection game works

The announcement describes this loop:

  1. Find mobs and bring them back to your base.
  2. Display your collection to earn in-game money.
  3. Seek rarer creatures and mutations that increase collection value.
  4. Defend your collection while competing to steal from other players.

Quests and achievements are also mentioned. New players begin outside PvP, but that protection is temporary: the announcement does not specify its duration. Treat the introduction as preparation for competition, rather than a promise that your collection will stay safe permanently.

How to find Rob A Mob

Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition, select Play, and open the Servers tab. Look for Rob A Mob, following the entry named in the announcement. Minecraft's server connection guide explains the Bedrock menu route and how it differs from Java's Multiplayer menu.

The Enchanted Games gamemodes page lists Rob A Mob and directs players from its older Steal a Mob entry to the new Rob a Mob server in Minecraft's server list. That is useful if an older video or bookmark points to Steal a Mob. Use the operator's current listing instead of assuming the older entry still launches the same experience.

Is it vanilla Minecraft, a mod, or a Java mode?

The verified route is a Bedrock server experience. Enchanted Games identifies its network as built on Bedrock and states that it is not made by Mojang or Microsoft. Coverage on Minecraft.net should not be read as a claim that the operator is Mojang.

The sources checked here do not provide a Java connection route, a downloadable mod package, or a command to add this experience to a normal local world. If your launcher says Java Edition, its Multiplayer screen is a different connection path; this guide cannot promise that a similarly named Java server is the same game.

What if you cannot find or join it?

First check your edition and the exact server name. Minecraft's official servers page explains where featured Bedrock servers appear. For account or connection restrictions, follow the official connection guide and the operator's support link rather than installing a guessed mod or entering an unverified server address.

We have not verified current server availability on each platform. Mob prices, rarity odds, protection timers and reward lists are therefore left to the live server's own instructions.
